| With the recent annual meeting, the Hearing Loss Association of Florida has begun a new year. Elections were held and new committees were formed. Check out our Board of Trustees page to see who's who and who is behind the scenes of our organization. Members have much work and a lot to look forward to in the upcoming months: the 2009 HLAA Convention, the Walk4Hearing, outreach to our veterans, funding scholarships, applying for grants, the increase in publication and circulation of our newsletter, Hear Ye, Hear Ye, and as always the updating of our website. Finally, there's the everyday job we have of educating, advocating for and supporting Florida people who have hearing loss. |
